"Why does my computer freeze?" I was wondering this question myself not too long ago. I would be using my computer like any other time. When all of a sudden my computer freezes up. I cannot access any programs. My mouse is not moving anywhere. I cannot use control/alt/delete. The only thing you can do is turn off your computer manually which is unsafe for your computer and causes you to lose any information were using at the time.

Anyone who has experienced this knows how big of a pain a computer freeze is. And it is even worse for those who like me had this happening to them on a regular basis. It just seems to come out of nowhere and can be a huge nuisance.

What I learned was that the problems were coming from my Windows registry. The registry is the most important and fragile area of your computer. It contains the information that runs all of your software and hardware. As you install, update, and delete programs the registry becomes filled with unwanted information.

This unwanted information causes two problems. First off it slows down your computer considerably. Like a traffic jam, your computer becomes congested with information and needs to be cleaned out to run fast again. The other problem is windows error messages and your computer freezing up. This useless and corrupted information on the registry counteracts with other programs causing serious problems.

The only way to fix this problem and prevent these kinds of computer freezes is to repair the Windows registry. Because it is such a fragile area it was recommended to use a program to clean up registry errors for me. I did so and my computer stopped freezing almost immediately. Even better it began to run like it was brand new!

Before you start you should know that it is not a good idea to wipe your disc in circles. Unlike old LPs (where you had to follow the groove), PS2 Games should be rubbed from the center straight to the outside edge. Wiping in circles does more damage and you want to avoid that.

Put a little warm water on the disc. apply a little toothpaste to your cloth rub (as directed) over the scratched area and around it. If you have a lot of scratches then you should do the whole disc. 10-15 swipes from inside to out should do the trick. rinse the toothpaste off allow the disc to air dry

See? It's not hard to fix scratched PS2 Games at all. There is one problem to this method though; You can do it too often. Realize that you are grinding down the plastic surface around the crack to make the PS2 think it's shallow. Do you know which county your warrants were issued in? You should know this if you forgot to turn up in court for instance. If so then you can go to the county courthouse and ask. This should be free in most cases and it won't get you arrested unless the warrant is for something very serious. You have to go to the right courthouse for this to work though. They will probably not be able to search other county records for you.

If you aren't sure which county the warrant is in then you could try state records. Most counties feed their records up to the state but the process can be slow and sometimes not very reliable. To be on the safe side you should check warrant records at the county and state level.

Arrest warrants are public records and there are some web sites that are making it their business to collect all publicly available records from across the nation into a huge database. They then organize the data and make it all available to you for easy searching nationwide.

These public records web sites are very effective at finding information about people fast and it's not just arrest warrants either. You can search for criminal records and all sorts of background information. You can also do the search on anyone you want to, not just yourself.

Depending on which public records web site you use, you can either pay a small fee for each search that you do or, you can pay a small monthly subscription and do as many free arrest warrant searches as you want to. You can search nationwide and background check practically anyone.

I think sometimes that people get to thinking that Google owes them traffic. That all they should have to do is write an article, get a zillion inbound links to the article, and Google just owes them traffic.

But think about it - if YOU were a search engine, if YOU were Google - would YOU want your search engine full of quickly written spun articles that their only redeeming quality was that someone had gotten a bunch of links to them?

Let's take this deeper. Let's say you have a blog, and you are looking for 10 people to write blog posts for you. So you have 10 people audition to write blog posts for you. And 9 of them write really trashy articles that you know your readers won't read. In fact, they will stop coming to your blog if that's all you put out. So you don't hire those writers, do you? No, you hire the one writer that wrote really good content that your readers want to read.

Let's think about this for a second. What's different about Google? Sure, they are a big site. But they want relevant content their readers want to read. Because let's face it, if every time you went to Google, they served you up content that was poorly written rehashed trash, you would stop going to Google, right?

How A New York Traffic Ticket (including a New York Speeding Ticket) Effects Auto Insurance Rates

This Article addresses the effect on your automobile insurance rates from being convicted of a New York traffic ticket including speeding.

As a New York Traffic Lawyer, I often am asked will a conviction to a NY traffic ticket effect my insurance rates. This question is often posed because insurance rates are one of the primarily reasons why someone would want to fight a moving violation ticket. The short answer is sometimes "yes" and sometimes "no".

Under Insurance Law Section 2335, insurance companies in New York State may raise a motorist's insurance rates for a number of reasons. The ones involving the issuance of a traffic ticket are set forth below:

How A New York Traffic Ticket (including a New York Speeding Ticket) Effects Auto Insurance Rates

Motorist is convicted of driving sixteen (16) miles per hour (or more) over the limit Motorist has been convicted of speeding and/or reckless driving on 3 or more occasions Motorist has been convicted of speeding or reckless driving where injury or death results Motorist is convicted of driving while intoxicated or impaired (alcohol or drugs) Motorist is convicted of leaving the scene of an accident without reporting it Motorist is convicted or 2 or more moving violations

So what does this mean?

For a motorist with a clean record (i.e., no points, no accidents), a conviction to most "small" moving violations will NOT result in your insurance rates being raised. Examples of such offenses are disobey a red light, running a stop sign, failure to signal, speeding fifteen (15) miles per hour (or less) above the limit and improper turns. The second conviction, however, for a "small" offense can be used against you to hike your rates.

The next question commonly asked is how long will such a blemish on my driver record be held against me. The answer is 36 months from the date of conviction.

The lesson behind Section 2335 is that it does not take much for an insurance company to have a basis to raise your rates. One "big" ticket or two "small" tickets is enough. Therefore, it is generally worthwhile fighting any New York moving violation ticket to try and reduce or eliminate points.

Why Most AARTO Traffic Fines Issued Go Astray

The address to which thousands of AARTO traffic-fine notices issued each month are erroneously sent at public cost at a cost of over R3m in postage.

This outrageous statistic was emerged from a recent metro police chiefs' report. The documented flaws in the new Aarto system, as well as the costs from Aarto who is the Administrative Adjudication of Road Traffic Offences (Aarto) Act is under the spotlight.

The new system, which includes a demerit point system that could ultimately cost serial road-regulation offenders of their needed driving licences, will be implemented countrywide in 2011.

Why Most AARTO Traffic Fines Issued Go Astray

The South African metro police chiefs say that the national eNaTIS system's address list is being used to send and post notices of traffic fines to all vehicle owners by registered post. It was reported at least 60% of these addresses are incorrect and that the fines issued go astray.

This report has been confirmed by the CEO MR, Ranthoko Rakgoale of the Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC), which administers Aarto. It is known that eNaTIS draws its database information from forms which first ask all motorists to provide residential and then secondly their postal addresses.

While completing the postal address field, many motorists will often write: "As above". This "address" is then electronically captured by eNaTIS. This is where it all goes wrong.

When traffic fine notices are generated by the enatis system, the database information in the postal address field is then copied to the traffic fine notice for the local Post Office to deliver by registered post. This is why the post goes astray.

As a result of this problem, and other regular administrative errors, up to about 60% of the notices are returned undelivered. Often the Post office is blamed for this error, but it clearly a adminastrative problem.

The Post Office branches are struggling to handle the volumes of strayed AARTO notices.

Sadly the motorist is not able to benefit from the 32 days notice grace period, where they can dispute fines with irregularities or get 50% discount on the fines, because they do not they even have a fine issued.

Most motorist only find out about the offence when they are stopped in a road block or search on line for unaccounted fines issued.
